My New Year Resolutions
I have been making new year resolutions for a few years. I have always hope for good health, give myself a target on how much I wanted to save for the year and some silly resolutions like how many paintbrushes I wanted to collect in Neopets.
I have always believe that if I make those resolutions, write them down in a small piece of paper, put them into my purse, I will achieve some of them. Well, I have almost never achieve any silly resolutions with Neopets because I have quit playing. I have achieved my most wanted resolution of getting checks from Cafepress every month.
However, I have made a silly mistake with my resolution. I had made them every year, write them down and put it into my purse and never look at it until the next December comes along and it was time to make another one. It means that I have forgotten what I wanted to achieve every year and I did not work on my goals at all!
I promise myself that I am not going to make that silly mistake again. For my 2008 new year resolutions, I am going to make them, write them down, and work on them.

How to Make Your Resolutions
1) I will write more lenses.
2) I will earn more money from Cafepress
The mistake is how much more lenses is more? How much more money do I want to earn from Cafepress? So for this year, I gave myself some real figures to hit.
I did not give myself a low target to hit. I believe that if I set myself a higher target, at the end of the year, even if I do not hit my target number of lenses, I should be near to my target figure.
Do not a afraid to set your goals high. When you set your goals high and make yourself committed to it, you will find ways to achieve your goals. If you set your goals too low, you will start to procrastinate until the end of the year.
How to Achieve Your Resolution
Now, how do I make sure that I make a lens every week until the end of 2008? I planned all the tasks I need to complete on a monthly calendar. I have wrote down "complete a lens" at the end of each week and I will have to report to myself how many lenses I have completed or made up to today. Besides making lenses, I have also wrote down when I should finish my monthly newsletters for my stores, how many designs I should have uploaded, types of marketing I have done for my designs and so on.
I have made myself very busy in 2008. Hopefully, I will achieve all my new year resolutions in 2008.
