High Blood Pressure - Are You Sure You Don't Have It?
A couple of years ago I found that I was feeling generally unwell - kind of like flu but not flu - every now and again. I was getting thumping headaches once or twice a week and was basically out of sorts.
It turned out that I had high blood pressure. I got put onto medication and it quickly stabilised. However, the medication had some unpleasant side effects.
Fortunately, by a combination of increased exercise, a more relaxed attitude to work and some dietary modifications I was able to control my blood pressure and ditch the medication after only a few weeks.
A lot of people aren't so lucky. In fact a lot of people have high blood pressure and don't even know it. Like me, they may be feeling generally unwell and out of sorts without knowing the reason for it.

What Is RESPeRATE?
RESPeRATE is a portable electronic device - it looks a bit like a Sony Walkman - which helps to lower your blood pressure by controlling your breathing.By reducing your breathing rate to 10 breaths per minute or less the muscles surrounding your blood vessels relax.
RESPeRATE works using audio and visual cues to allow you to get your respiration rate into the beneficial zone quickly and easily. According to clinical trials users experience significant, sustainable benefits after around 4 weeks of using RESPeRATE for four 15 minute sessions per week.
The device has been approved by the FDA in the US and has been endorsed by doctors on both sides of the Atlantic. Check out the videos below for further information -
