The process is so easy it can be done by anyone with the right tools and instructions at home. You can get to the point where you can easily restore batteries and will find yourself helping out your family and friends and will even see the business opportunity with this.

The batteries you can recondition include Nicad, NiMH, Large capacity lead-acid types used in cars golf carts, fork lifts and those used for solar power. This process will extend the life of the battery from 50% to 70% and more. An environmental benefit to using this process is that you can reduce the amount of batteries going to land fills and contributing to pollution.

If you have a solar power system you know how expensive it can be to get rechargeable batteries to use. Your solar power system may have cost you a lot of money so at least saving the cost of the batteries themselves will really help out. You can hunt around and find discarded golf cart batteries or someone may want to give you some to just get rid of them.

Recycle them yourself back to life and you will have an in-expensive battery bank for your system. There are many other people out there that could benefit from what you know and buy restored batteries from you at a good price. Could be a good way to make some extra money.

You can even restore car batteries and if you and your friends have golf carts you can keep them going for years also. Keep your cordless drills and other tools going on their original battery for years before the battery gives up. If you have bought replacement batteries for your drill you know the cost can be crazy.

Again, obtaining used batteries from other sources for free or very cheap can give you an unlimited supply to work with, you will learn how to test batteries to see which have the best potential for reconditioning. You will be saving some big bucks and even have a chance to make an income doing this.
