How To Get That Job!

Your resume and cover letter are the first impression that any prospective employer will have of you. Don't fall at the first hurdle. Take some time to get both right.

Your resume needs to grab the interest of the reader. If it is just a list of all you have done, no matter how learned and successful, it will not appeal at an emotional level. Readers are human beings - if they were robots, the list approach would be more than adequate.

No - the readers are human and they will respond to the extra care you take to be both informative and entertaining in the presentation of your resume and cover letter.
