Webkinz for Sale

If you have children up to their early teens, you have probably heard of Webkinz. These plush pets come with a special code that can be activated at the Webkinz website. Once this is done, children can interact with their newly adopted pet online. There are some very serious collectors out there.

If your child has sent you on a mission looking for a hard to find "retired" Webkinz, you could be looking at spending some major money. If you go to a website specializing in just Webkinz, you are most likely going to pay top dollar for these retired animals.

While on such a mission for my own children, I figured something out, you can sometimes get lucky by looking on eBay. Sure, some of the prices people want will be insane, but you really can find some decent deals if you know how to look for them.

In my humble opinion, you are much better off going to eBay and letting the market decide the value.

Not a bad selection, but if you want to have a better chance at find really GREAT deals, give these ideas a try.

1. Look for auctions ending at "oddball" times. Many newer sellers on eBay don't consider their auction's ending time when they list items. If they have time to put something on eBay at 10 a.m. on a Monday, they just go ahead and do it. They don't even consider that hardly anyone will be looking for their auction at that time compared to a time in the evening when many more people are home from work and settled in for the night. If you find an auction ending at one of these less popular times, you could save yourself a LOT of money since there will be many less people (or even NO ONE)bidding against you!

2. When you search, try looking for "Webkins" with an "s" instead of "Webkinz". Some savvy sellers will put both words in their listing, but some folks just mess up the spelling. Collectors searching for "webkinz" will never see these misspelled auctions. This in turn increases your chances of getting a steal.
