Webkinz - The Predicted Ones to Retire in the Future
There are many Webkinz fans out there who want to know which Webkinz will be retiring. Mainly out of these fans are the people who want to get them before they go out of production - and out of price range!
Here is a resource for you - these are the predictions of which Webkinz will be officially retired in the not-too-distant future, along with info on where they can be purchased online (for very reasonable prices).
I Am Not a Super-Secret Ganz Spy
How do I know which Webkinz will be retired? I don't. But I've done some investigation on the subject and have found that when more than one reputable resource says that one will retire, it usually does.I have no idea how these people know this - Ganz doesn't announce it publicly but it seems to be the case that when these people say one will retire, it does.
On this page I am listing out 10 different Webkinz that have consistently been stated to be the next to retire, based on available information.
Where to Buy Retiring Webkinz
How Can You Get Them?
Regular (offline) stores such as Hallmark carry Webkinz but you can't buy them at discount stores like Wal-Mart or Target. It's actually been a bit tough to find the ones that you really want at Hallmark stores, and it can be pretty time consuming to call all of the stores in an area to find out if they have certain ones in stock.Based on my experience the best place to get them is online, and there are several great resources to do this, without risk.
For each Webkinz listed below, I am including links to the places I know of online where they can be bought for the best prices, and almost always are available to buy. They include Amazon.com (most often the best price), as well as eBay and some of them you can get at Buy.com.
#1. The Frog

This is the first frog that Ganz created for the Webkinz line and it looks like he'll be hopping out of production. :)
Take Note! There are several types of frogs in the Webkinz line - the name of the one I am talking about here is just "Frog" and looks like the picture above. (It's not "Tree Frog", "Spotted Frog", "Lil Kinz Frog", etc.)
