I guess the big difference between classic retro candy and nostalgic candy is that Retro candy is still here and still going strong.For example, thoose gumball machines that still are around with the gumballs with a rough surface Now if I where to give someone a retro candy basket and if I where rich that is what I would give them.

I wonder if my mother and father would remember theese?I must have missed them totally, like Canada Mints and French Chew. They sure where patriotic with their candy back in the days!
Talk about a Retro Candy Box with some of the fairly common ones, although I never really associated them with the 1940s. Jujubes are a '4os thing, Red Hots, Necco Wafers, Minnesota's own Pearson's Salted Nut Rolls.
