I love old games!
Its amazing to watch kids these days think that they "invented" video games. They see an "old guy" like me sit down at a console and simply dominate them with shock and awe. The answer is obvious to me, I've been doing this longer than they have been alive, just ask my nephew!
My goal here is to present a huge selection of video games, game history, and videos to help remind these youngsters that there actually were video games before Halo and the XBox arrived on the scene.

I wonder if this game would have been as popular if the sound had been nom nom nom nom nom??Pac-Man is one of those retro games that people either love or hate. My wife loves Pac-Man, I find it a bit boring. That said, Pac-Man is one of the top all time retro games and it deserves a spot here on the retro games home page.

The first game to introduce the real feeling of speed, Sonic the Hedgehog blew kids minds. The game was so fast, so hard to control, that at the time we couldn't imagine anything going faster.
