Make a mini-kit out of your empty pill bottle!

Empty pill bottles are great for mini sewing kits or first aid kits.

To make a mini sewing kit, fill your empty bottle with a needle, thread, measuring tape, safety pin, spare button and whatever else you might need.

To make a mini first aid kit, fill your empty pill bottle with a bandaid, alcohol wipe, antiseptic wipe, aspirin packet, or whatever else you might find handy.

Make your pill bottle into a mini-ice pack!

To turn an empty medicine bottle into a mini-ice pack, simply fill part-way with water, cap and freeze. It won't take up much space in your freezer but will be ready in a pinch!

we have a lot of medicine bottles at home... most of the glass ones (for the syrups) we sell to the guys who buy recyclable stuff... the plastic ones we keep and use to put buttons in, give to young toddlers who need light weight rattles (after putting some dried beans in the bottles so they rattle... :)
