Review for Revell Mig-31 Foxhound

This lens will review Revell Mig-31 Foxhound 1/72 Model Kit. We will also look at its sister kit made by Zvezda.

If you bought Revell's Mig-31 first, you might be quite shock at Zvezda's version. You only got a small decal with really low quality instead of what you can get from Revell's.

Comparisons of the two kits

The model plates are actually identical. It seems that Revell's are delicate. Its interesting that Zvezda put their company's name on the surface of the aircraft.

You got a large sheet with stencils. The decals can be made for Red 22, Pechenga Red Banner Aviation Regiment Boris Safonov, Monchegorsk AB, Kola peninsular, 2001, Mig-31B, Blue 73,786. Fighter Aviation Regiment, Pravdinsk, Nijegorodskaya District,1995 and Mig-31E(Export),903, company-owned display-fighter,2001. I think this kit really worth the money. You don't have to pay extra money for that.

Highlight 1

Two different guide plates for air intakes are included.

Highlight 2

Pylons for external loads.R-37 and R-40 are included.

Highlight 3

Considerable details on the nozzle.

Highlight 4

Detailed landing gear.

Highlight 5

Cockpit with pilot figures.

Cons

There seems no details on the missiles. The lines are rather thick and light.
