Vex Robotics At Its Best

Over the years robotic toy technology has advanced at a rapid pace with all the major companies battling to create something unique. The Revell Vexplorer Robotics System is one of these creations.

Here is one of the most popular robotics kits on the market; a perfect gift for the creative youngster interested in technology and building kits. The Revell Vexplorer Robotics System comes with all the parts and tools and also a handy manual that offers diagrams to make the building process quicker and easier.

Boys and girls of all ages above 10 years old can enjoy the educational and satisfying benefits of building their own robot. The Vexplorer is also very popular in robot design competitions for youngsters and adults who just want that little bit more from their robot.

With this type of robotic construction system you are not limited to only one design and specification. Many separate parts are available to connect to the main unit making the creative process constant and as complexed or simple as you want it to be.

Look at the photos and have a read through all the information below if you want an idea as to what the Vexplorer robotics system has to offer.

Revell Vexplorer Robotics System Review

Revell Vexplorer Robotics SystemThis is such a cool piece of robotic technology. Every child from the ages of 10 upwards should have one of these as they're not only loads of fun to play with but educational too.

As you can see in the "unboxing" video below, the Revell kit comes with everything you need to get started. Some of the parts are already pre-assembled and you don't need to be a building genius to put one of the together.

With the enclosed radio control this six wheeled robot can be directed to go anywhere within a 150 foot range. You can have it explore all kinds of areas and not even have to move from your chair because you will be able to see exactly where the robot is going through its spycam. You can watch your machine's exploration live on your TV screen.
The Vexplorer has a strong metal base, arm and support and has a claw that can be maneuvered separately so as it can grab things and put things down. With preassembled modules you can build your first robot in less than an hour.

Vexplorer Robotic SystemWith a little imagination and creativity you can even build your own style robot with your own hands. Design and configure the robot to how you want by using the free "Solid Works Design" system that's available in the pack.

Overall this is the ultimate gift for any child who likes robots and building. There are five pre-assembled pieces and there are nuts and bolts, contained in the pack, for putting the robot together. The Solid Works design program is great for thinking up new designs and putting them into practice.

Below I have outlined some more features to complete the overall review.

This is so cool! I love the ideas people came up with in the video about the challenge. I have a 12 year old who would think this was the best thing ever. Every year he wants a robot for Christmas. We already did the robot dinosaur and while that was neat when he was younger, it's not as sophisticated as this by a long shot. Bookmarking for the holidays. Great job!
