Doing a reverse email lookup with the resources you have

Tools like email lookups can be extremely handy, and you'd be surprised to know that using a reverse email search is actually very effective and cheap - I was even surprised at the price and results, and yes there are completely free ways of getting the information that you seek which we will soon go over.

The worldwide email address finder

Simple name - fantastic results!

My favorite service for this is a site called The worldwide email address finder. Their service boosts a 95% success rate, which is practically unheard of, and even if you have a little trouble with your results they will work with you personally one-on-one, but I seriously doubt that you will even come to that point.

There is also a really wonderful site called the Reverse Lookup Guru which has highly informative reviews on all sorts of reverse lookups - you can check it out to read more about this reverse email lookup.

The beauty of Worldwide is that it is just that - totally global. In the next few sections I'm going to show you how to do a totally free email address find on your own, but you should also know that the results may only be concluded 50% of the time using such tactics.

3 ideas on how to get what you need

This video shows 3 great ideas for doing your own investigation, and then after this we'll break them down to get more specific.

Method 1

The first method is very simple and typical. In fact you've probably even tried it yourself. You can use a search engine such as google to possibly find what you want. Simple enter the email address into the search field and see what comes up. If its publicly listed such as a business or organization you may find results, but you need to realize that because of spam - very few people are going to let this information be found by way of a search engine.

However, if you need an address and know the name of a person or organization, do a search for just the name. Keep in mind all of the social sites that may contain a profile with specific contact details for getting a hold of someone.

If you know this person from the past, you may have luck making contact with them

Method 2

Method 2 uses a service that can be found at http://search.mylife.com which contains a database of US and Canadian residents. The database isn't of course complete and can be limited in scope. If you are looking for someone globally then you will definitely want to use Worldwide email address finder.

Their site is sophisticated in the sense that it lets you either do a search for email addresses or search for a name.

Method 3

This method is a little more old school but can deliver results pretty fast. If you still have access to Windows XP here's what you do. Go to Start, then click on Search. Choose Computers or People, then click People in your address book. A small window should appear in the top right corner. It gives you the option to search your address book, but even better - it also provides a drop down box that lists several public directories. You can choose one at a time and type in a name or the address that you have on hand, and see what comes up.

Try each directory, because you seriously never know, but this information may be a little outdated.

What are the benefits of using the real deal?

I highly advise anyone to NOT use a free lookup, other than perhaps the creative methods listed above. Going with a real reverse email lookup is a much better route to take.
