Review of AffSphere Article Directory

This AffSphere review is based on my experience with the affiliate-friendly, article directory developed by Affiliate Classroom. It includes my experience of the key features of AffSphere and my growing understanding of its viral marketing capabilities. This unique article directory has a lot to commend it but like everything in affiliate marketing AffSphere requires focused and sustained effort to realize its many affiliate marketing benefits including increased traffic and affiliate commissions.

Review of AffSphere: my experience of the key AffSphere processes 

I am writing this review of AffSphere as a member of the article directory with experience in recruiting new members, submitting articles and gaining traffic to my lenses, splash pages and blog. The aspects of AffSphere that appealed to me are:
  1. makes it easy to submit articles
  2. provides for the storing of multiple variations of your resource box to enable different resource boxes for different article content
  3. provides numerous article categories and sub-categories to enable niche targeting
  4. enables leveraging of article writing through a range of viral marketing features
  5. facilitates quick acquisition of traffic credits through article submission, article reading and recruitment of new members
  6. provides comprehensive reporting of article traffic statistics, traffic credits, downline members and their activity.
  7. shares advertising revenue with authors on the basis of the number of times the author's articles have been read.

Key Features of AffSphere 

AffSphere is described as affiliate-friendly and these AffSphere features explain why.
Traffic Generation
Article Traffic is generated through the AffSphere search facility and the "most recent article" and "featured articles" listings on the home page. Affiliate Classroom members have their affiliate URL incorporated in each of their article pages and their articles are rotated through the featured listings.
Traffic Credits
You receive traffic credits for submitting articles, recruiting members and reading articles on the AffSphere site.
Viral Recruiting
Your AffSphere affiliate URL is included on each of your article pages so that if anyone joins through your article page they become your downline member.

My Squidoo Marketing Articles on AffSphere 

One of the benefits of AffSphere is that your article pages carry your own AffSphere affiliate link and your Affiliate Classroom affiliate url so that you can recruit new members via your article pages. On 14 August 2008, Kris Jones, CEO of Pepperjam Affiliate Marketing Network, interviewed me about Squidoo and affiliate marketing. He was particularly interested in the benefits that Squidoo provides over blogging.

I explained in the interview that the real marketing benefits occur when Squidoo is treated as the marketing hub and other approaches such as blogging, article marketing, Facebook, Twitter, etc are treated as the spokes.
