Web Hosting Made Easy

I have been using Hostgator.com as my web hosting service since 2006. Currently I have five web sites hosted with them and find their service is second to none. If you want to add a WordPress blog to your website, this can be done very easily.

Hostgator Applications (1) : Cloak Affiliate Links

Hostgator allows you unlimited subdomains on their Baby Croc level membership level membership. This means that you can substitute a subdomain name for an affiliate link and redirect the subdomain to your affiliate page.

Here's an example:
http://www.squidootrafficpower.squidoomarketingstrategies.com/

In this example, www.squidoomarketingstrategies.com is my primary domain and I am using the subdomain, "squidootrafficpower" to promote a ClickBank product.

When people click the subdomain URL it redirects to the Squidoo Traffic Power Sales page via my ClickBank affiliate link.

Hostgator Applications (2) : Host Your e-Portfolio

Increasingly, employers are looking for staff who are flexible, show initiative and have Internet marketing capability. They are also looking to the Internet to find out information about potential employees (e.g. by accessing Facebook, LinkedIn and other social networking sites).

Employers have become very interested in your "Internet Footprint" - your impact in the online world.

One way to shine out as a potential employee (or consultant) is to create your own e-porfolio.

Hostgator Applications (3): Hosting Your Images and Photos

The Baby Croc plan for Hostgator enables you to host numerous images and photos.

You can then embed them in your Squidoo lenses, blogs or websites with appropriate anchor text using the text module.

This creates a backlink to your website from Squidoo. The image will also be indexed in Google with a link back to your website.

Hostgator Application (4): Hosting Niche Video Sites

Hostgator can be used to host Niche Video Sites.

You can host the niche video sites using a keyword rich domain or sub-domain or alternatively host them within a folder on a relevant domain.

    I began pursuing a career in Internet Marketing in 1998. In the beginning I tried several web hosts and experienced some absolute nightmares before discovering HostGator. They truly are fantastic.. and are always rated among the best by review sites, customers and critics alike.

    At this point in time.. I now own multiple websites and earn 100% of my income online. Approximately half of my sites are hosted at HostGator with most of the others being hosted with another excellent web host at GreatHostingSolutions.com
