Mondays On Squidoo Lens Reviews
Ranked #807 in Squidoo Community, #87,342 overall
I was the Monday Author of Squidoo Lens Reviews
Reviewing Squidoo lenses with the rest of MiMi's team on Squidoo Lens Reviews was a delight and an honour.
If you haven't heard of this blog, Squidoo Lens Reviews is an unofficial Squidoo blog with the aim of reviewing the very best lenses that first MiMi (GrowWear) and now the team of writers and contributors can find.
NOTE: I was the Monday author from February 2010 until October 2010, when I passed the baton on to DecoratingForEvents, who wrote for Squidoo Lens Reviews until February 2011. Sadly this blog is no longer running.
I hope you enjoy this tribute to
all the lensmasters (and Zazzler designers) I've featured on Squidoo Lens Reviews -- Monday edition!
So Many Talented Lensmasters
It takes a team to discover them all!
Writing for this blog has given me the chance to showcase some fantastic lenses and share the work of some of Squidoo's most talented lensmasters. Some names are more familiar than others but all have created something that made them stand out in my view. I'm delighted to share with you here the lenses I've reviewed.
Of course, I encourage you to visit the blog itself as I am just one of a team of writers and contributors. Each of us has her own style of writing and topics to which she is drawn, and there is a wonderful variety of work being reviewed, as well as a high-quality review to be discovered every day of the week.
The Squidoo Lens Reviews Team
Monday to Friday
Here's the 5 regular writers (Spring-Summer 2010 -- visit the blog for current line-up) in weekday order. Also in order of importance. ;) (definitely joking, Kim!).
Bev, Carrie, Leanne and Kim are all fantastic reviewers and each one of these ladies inspires me. I love to see what's new each day of the week.
Squidoo and Zazzle Go Together
Zazzlers and Lensmasters -- The Perfect Partnership

'weblog' team blogging mug by StarBrightNights
Zazzle is a site where talented designers, artists and photographers can create gift items and custom t-shirts to sell to the public. It's free to use, and with billions of products there is always a high-quality design to be found to suit any taste and topic.
I'm a Zazzler myself and like to support other Zazzle stores. So one of the best parts of writing my reviews for Squidoo Lens Reviews is getting to choose just the right image from Zazzle to complement the lens I've featured.
Some Zazzle stores love the publicity, and with such great designs they deserve to be shown off. It has come to my attention that not everyone wants exposure through Zazzle's affiliate scheme, though. If you find your design featured here and would rather it was removed, just send me a private note and I will replace it as soon as I get your message.
All images have been shared legally through the Zazzle affiliate scheme and are strictly copyright of their respective photographers/designers.

I Had a Lens Reviewed on Squidoo Lens Reviews!
Yay, finally!

Kitty Is Not Amused print by karenhartswildcats
The Squidoo Lens Review line-up has changed since I was a writer for the blog. In addition to DecoratingForEvents (who I mentioned up at the top), a couple of other fantastic lensmasters stepped into the breach.
One of these is Wednesday_Elf. She gave my own lens on The Scottish Wildcat a review in January 2011. Thanks Elf!
Have you ever had a lens reviewed on Squidoo Lens Reviews
Maybe it's here?
If not, there is still time! Keep on writing great lenses and sooner or later you'll make it. (Until recently I had never been featured there either.)

- Ah -- I miss SLR. I so very much enjoyed my tenure as the THURSDAY Squidoo Lens Reviewer as it gave me the opportunity to find some truly outstanding lenses worthy of review and recognition. I know MiMi had to re-prioritize her time and her SLR blog was one of the things she had to 'let go', but it sure was fun being a part of it. I STILL seek out the type of lenses I would have 'reviewed' and now leave a special comment in their guestbooks. So many worthy lenses, so little time! :-)

- You said it, Elf! And I still treasure the fact that you gave me a lens review of my very own during your Thursday spot. :)

- As you say, it is sad that this blog is no longer running. What a great idea it was... any chance it will be revived?

- Ah, SLR was the creation of MiMi (GrowWear) and I think her closing the door on it was final. It truly would not be the same blog if someone else restarted it. I have fond memories of it and of all the hard work that MiMi and her team put in.

- What a delightful collections of lensmasters. I have enjoyed reading your reviews. I see that I have missed a couple and now have a place to catch up on the ones that I missed. Great idea to make a lensography of them. Blessed by the SquidAngel of Lensographies. Featured on SquidAngel of Lensographies.

- You now have had a lens reviewed at Squidoo Lens Reviews, my dear, and most deserving it is. You should feature it here! :)
This is a delightful compilation of the wonderful lenses you found and reviewed during your tenure as the Monday author. I am the new Thursday author, taking over from the wonderful writer & reviewer, dustytoes. So nice that we are able to help MiMi (GrowWear) continue recognizing outstanding lensmasters on Squidoo who write great lenses worthy of Review!

- I took your advice! I'm proud to have been featured by Wednesday Elf on Thursdays on Squidoo Lens Reviews. I wonder if you will make a lensography of the lenses you review? Would love to see it!
Yes, MiMi has done a fine job and no matter who is in the team she manages to ensure she has high quality writers.
