Rhod Gilbert is a fantasticly funny man. He is a Welsh stand-up comedian.
Rhod's rather miserable demeanor does not detract from his comedy, it in fact adds to it.
Rhod is an expert at telling anecdotes that have happended to himself and adding huge elements of humour to them. The first time I saw Rhod Gilbert he was telling a story about what happened when his luggage was lost when he went on holiday. I was laughing so hard that my stomache ached.

He is Welsh (as a fellow countryman I believe that this should be a reason to love Rhod Gilbert. Welsh and proud!)
REASON 2
He is an extremely funny man. He makes the most mundane occurances seem extremely funny. I believe he achives this through a combination of great story telling, his Welsh accent and seeming to be a right miserable sod.
