Twin Cities Hip Hop
From Minneapolis Minnesota, Rhymesayers Entertainment hosts such artists as Atmosphere, Brother Ali, and most recently Abstract Rude. Rhymesayers is currently run by its oldest artist, "slug," of Atmosphere. With Rhymesayers, slug has created a label for underground hip hop artists that are focused on the art and the music, not fame and fortune.

Atmosphere, along with Brother Ali and many other artists currently recording under Rhymesayers Entertainment have been offered record deals by many if not all major labels and have turned them all down in the pursuit of freedom of expression and furthering the spread of independent hip hop as well as the concept of nonconformity within our society. The King Of Minneapolis
Atmosphere, which consists of rapper "Slug," and producer "Ant," has been ripping up the world of underground hip hop since they hit the scene over ten years ago. You can hear the dedication and love for the art on every track of their albums.Atmosphere is on Rhymesayers along with Brother Ali and many other underground hip hop artists from Minneapolis Minnesota and around the country. I uploaded a few videos of some of Atmosphere's work, but I really can't do his discography justice with just three songs, but its a good cross section of some of his work. Slug continually shows his love for his work and his dedication to his fans. Many artists you will wait years and years between major album releases, which is also true with Slug, but he has a way of always pleasing his fans by releasing several smaller albums in between major releases. Last winter (07') Slug released a Christmas present to all his fans, a 12 track album "Strictly Leakage," for absolutely free, which you can download here.

Brother Ali
Brother Ali, and Who's Askin'?
From Minneapolis Minnesota, Brother Ali, along with Rhymesayers Entertainment has changed the way the world looks at Underground Hip Hop.Brother Ali, along with the other artists on Rhymesayers create the music that THEY want to portraying the message that THEY want to portray. Not to mention the fact that they are much better rappers than any of the main stream puppet rappers you see on music videos rapping about nothing for a fat paycheck. Similar to Immortal Technique, Brother Ali does what he does because he loves it and wants to spread a message whether he is getting paid or not. I uploaded a music video below for one of his singles from his last album, and my personal favorite so far, "The Undisputed Truth," check it out.

Abstract Rude
Abstract Rude (Aaron Pointer), from Los Angeles California, is the newest addition to Rhymesayers Entertainment.Abstract Rude has been known for working with such names as Tribe Unique. Zulu Butterfly, and "The A-Team." I have had the pleasure to head three of Abstract Rude's albums; "Showtyme", "P.A.I.N.T", "Codename Scorpion". Abstract Rude has recently joined Rhymesayers Entertainment, and will soon be releasing his first album under this new label, "Dear Abbey."

Eyedea
Eyedea and Abilities
Eyedea, currently recording and performing with DJ Abilities, is signed under Rhymesayers Entertainment along with Atmosphere, Brother Ali, and Abstract Rude.Eyedea has been featured on a few tracks from these artists including "Funny Colors In My Mushroom Trails," on "Headshots: Se7en," by Atmosphere. Eyedea is arguably one of the best battle rappers on the circuit today.
