Rice Cookers
Rice cookers are a wonderful invention.
As much as I love rice, I rarely made it until I got my rice cooker.
With the rice cooker I can make a perfect light fluffy pot of rice without slaving over a hot stove, and without worrying if I'm going to get some crunchy rice at the bottom of my pot.
With the rice cooker I add one scoop of rice, two scoops of water, and wham...the rice is ready.
Some rice cookers even have timers, so you can set the rice to start cooking right before you get home, or right before you get ready to eat.
And you can also steam vegetables in rice cookers, and make lots of other dishes!

This is the rice cooker I have.
Each time I've used the rice has turned out perfectly, and cleanup is a breeze.
The warm feature helps keep the rice warm if families will be eating at different times.
Although I haven't made anything out of the included recipe book, there are some interesting recipes in there.

I have to admit I probably wouldn't have one without my husband.
I love to eat rice, but I never liked watching it so I didn't burn it.
It's so easy with the rice cooker that I wouldn't make rice without it.

Rice Cooker Chile Cheese Rice - A review
This was the first thing that I'd made in my rice cooker other than plain rice, so I was happy to find out that the cleanup was just as easy as it was wtih regular rice.

I'm kind of boring - so far my favorite thing to make in my rice cooker is rice.
If I were making it for myself I'd use chicken or vegetable broth instead of water, but my husband likes to mix butter and sugar in his rice, and that doesn't taste as good with broth based rice.

- Hi, I always seem to have a film of rice at the bottom of my rice cooker that doesn't look very attractive so I need to avoid scooping right to the bottom when dishing up. Is this normal and if not then how can I avoid this.
