Police Mystery and Suspense, from a Police Officer's Viewpoint
Rich Paloma writes engaging and suspenseful mystery-thriller police procedural novels that are a great read for a vacation weekend or long commute. His characters are believable (I think we've all worked with folks similar to those he describes in his books), and the plots seem to be right out of the Police Station logbook.Rich brings his experience as a police officer to his writing, thus lending authenticity to his plots and settings.

This was Rich Paloma's first novel... and I was honored to have read it chapter by chapter as he was writing it -- and then had the further honor of helping to edit it (and yes, I missed a few typos... aargh! -- the professional hazard of being an editor). The book is a fun read, and if you like police/detective procedurals and mystery novels, you'll love this one! The publisher/editor told Rich that she liked the novel after reading the first page (and her dad had been a cop!).

This was the second book I watched Rich Paloma write chapter by chapter. It has become one of my favorite things--to read Rich's books as he writes them. If you like a good police story with a lot of twists and turns, you'll love this book!

This is Rich Paloma's debut novel. The first out of the chute. The one that got him started. I was a member of the writers' group that saw this book being written, chapter-by-chapter. I read this book when it was still a manuscript--and it's a fantastic read. You absolutely must get this book for that weekend you want to get lost in a book!
