Richmond, Illinois, Information 

Richmond is about 20 minutes south of Lake
Geneva, Wisconsin, and 20 minutes north of McHenry, Illinois. It takes about 1.5
hours to drive to downtown Chicago. The population is around 2,000.


There are scenic trails for bikes and
walkers that transverse around the village and into Wisconsin. The famous
Nippersink Creek that runs through the town is a great place to relax and enjoy.


Richmond is the home to the Doyle's Pub Creekside Blues Festival held at the end of August. 2007 will celebrate the third year of the festival that highlights
Chicago Blues entertainers and is a fundraiser for local charities. Doyle's

Come and enjoy the 2007 version of Rockin Richmond Days August 24, 25, 26 in downtown Richmond on Broadway Street. The event will begin with the popular Classic Car Cruise Night and continue with food and music until midnight. Come on Saturday to enjoy the annual parade
