There are a group of people living in Southern Utah who believed that the end of the world was last September. So they had everything ready in underground shelters, and obviously they needed some really great heavy duty doors to keep out the locusts or whatever. They all ordered one door from me, and had them shipped down. They wrote back in the middle of September wanting a full refund. Unfortunately, the preceeding story wasn't true, although there are groups out there stockpiling and getting ready for who knows what. If you are a stockpiler, my doors will come in handy.

Although we feel safe, it's a false security that leads too often to lost and stolen keys, which is another weakness in our modern security. The bottom line is keys really are not a secure way of keeping things safe and secure.
Each year hundreds of thousands of dollars are spent to re-key buildings because a set of keys was lost or an employee was let go and did not return their keys.

A door is a moveable barrier used to cover an opening. Doors are used widely and are found in walls or partitions of a building or space, furniture such as cupboards, cages, vehicles, and containers.
A door can be opened to give access and closed more or less securely using a combination of latches and locks. (See article Door security).
Doors are nearly universal in buildings of all kinds, allowing passage between the inside and outside, and between internal rooms. When open, they admit ventilation and light. The door is used to control the physical atmosphere within a space by enclosing it, excluding air drafts, so that interiors may be more effectively heated or cooled. They are also used to screen areas of a building for aesthetic purposes, keeping formal and utility areas separate. Doors also have an aesthetic role in creating an impression of what lies beyond.
