Risk Board Game from Hasbro
During long weekends and holidays, my family always plays some board games. One or our favorites is Risk. This is the classic game about Global Domination. In this classic strategy game, we lead your armies as they sweep across vast continents to launch daring attacks against your enemies. Opponents compete to claim territories. We get to reinforce our armies with additional infantry, cavalry and artillery, then attack with lots of dice throwing. Capture all 42 territories to conquer the world!
We usually play just the classic game which usually can be done in 3 hours. However, there are several variants. Since 1959, millions of players have made Risk the military strategy game of choice. 2 to 6 players can play. Game includes: game board; 5 battle dice; deck of 44 Risk cards and 12 secret mission cards; 6 sets of military miniatures: infantry, cavalry, artillery.

This is the classic version of the game with the look and feel of game many of us have played for decades. This is very similar to the original 1959 edition of the game.
The History of Risk
From Wikipedia
Risk is a strategic board game, produced by Parker Brothers (now a division of Hasbro). It was invented by French film director Albert Lamorisse and originally released in 1957 as La ConquĂȘte du Monde ("The Conquest of the World") in France. Risk is a turn-based game for two to six players. The standard version is played on a board depicting a political map of the Earth, divided into forty-two territories, which are grouped into six continents. The primary object of the game is "world domination," or "to occupy every territory on the board and in so doing, eliminate all other players."[1] Players control armies with which they attempt to capture territories from other players, with results determined by dice rolls.
