Welcome to Riversleigh Manor
When you step through the magic portal and enter Lemuria you will see Riversleigh Manor in the distance.
Riversleigh Manor is the central hub of the Lemurian colony, a new world being populated by artists and writers from all around the globe.
Riversleigh Manor
the home of Sibyl Riversleigh
This manor house was once the house of Lord and Lady Riversleigh and after the death of Lord Riversleigh was inherited by Lady Sibyl Riversleigh, the youngest daughter of the Riversleigh's. It is the first port of call for pilgrims who step through Enchanteur's magic portal.
Paths lead, from Riversleigh through the Murmuring Woods to the The Hermitage and the Lemurian Abbey.
Riversleigh Manor is the base home of those who have decided to come and discover the magic of Lemuria.
Sibyl Riversleigh
Riversleigh Manor heiress and philanthropist
Lord Riversleigh never approved of Sibyl's career or her determination to remain single and he disowned her when she went on the stage at a theatre in Cyberia.
Upon the death of her father and brother Charles, Sibyl inherited the family Manor house. When she returned she found the manor house and estate had fallen in to disrepair. Since returning to Riversleigh Sibyl has breathed fresh life in to the whole estate. She has opened the house to artists, writers, musicians and travelling itinerants. She may seem young but she is multi-skilled and rules the estate with all the authority of her father.
When Sibyl enters a room her presence fills any void. She is a true patron of the arts and a muse to many who live in this old house. It is her intention to run a gallery and showcase the work of residents. She is also a dab hand at organising events and controls most of the daily routine in the Manor. Ebony Wilder, the housekeeper who also worked for her mother, is a true ally and together they make a formidable team.

This picaresque bodice-ripper is far more engrossing than one might expect, but then again it has a good pedigree. Based on a novel by Daphne du Maurier, the Restoration-era tale concerns Dona St. Columb (Tara Fitzgerald), a Catholic in the age of William and Mary and a survivor of Cromwell's repression. Married to an older, foolish aristocrat whom she easily manipulates, Dona has cultivated a suggestion of scandal to enhance her natural reputation as a tough, willful, cigarette-puffing Londoner. In an effort to get away from intrigues at the royal court, Dona takes her two children and heads for the family's Cornwall estate, where she hopes to find peace. She soon discovers, however, that French pirates turned patriots have been making use of her land, home, and even housekeeping staff to aid in France's war against Britain. Initially outraged, Dona is soon swayed by the pirates' passion for their cause and feels the absence in herself of a similar authenticity. The solution: join the raiders on their exploits and become the lover of their handsome captain (Anthony Delon). The story hums along most entertainingly and Fitzgerald's focused performance, both harsh and sensuous, provides a sturdy backbone to the drama. Delon mostly smolders, which is enough here, but the terrific supporting cast brings a dimension and color that makes the whole production more than agreeable. The ending is particularly satisfying, ultimately turning Frenchman's Creek into a human adventure that is more than the sum of its swashbuckling parts. --Tom Keogh

Fetching blurbs now... please stand byLemuria is a construct that lies somewhere in between the physical and the mythical! Discuss.
cora says:
Lemuria is like living as a master of the Matrix. Entering through a portal you step into a alternative space where there are characters to interact with and places to go. It is also an environment with the capacity for growth. There is freedom to make choices to add to this construct, selecting items from the beauty of the physical world and combining it with your most fanciful, mythically-proportioned imaginations. When these ideas are posted online, others can actively engage with it, making it a wild and wonderful shared dream.

Like the Velveteen Rabbit, Lemuria is REAL! Discuss
Imogen_Crest says:
Lemuria is like the velveteen rabbit, as real as can be, and like much loved toys, different to every person. In the sense that it is mythical and mysterious, it is real, like talking toys. Now is anyone going to say that toys don't talk? Then this means Lemuria is real, LOL...
