Motorola's RIZR Phone Series
First, there was the Motorola RAZR - and now, the RIZR. What's the difference, what's new, and what's the scoop? This page will review the new features of this brand new phone, which hit the markets in late 2006.
About the Motorola RIZR
RIZR basics
This new cell phone from Motorola features the traditional thinness of the RAZR, but with a "retractable" body. Use a push-bar on the phone to reveal the numeric keys underneath, and don't worry about the possibility of their being pressed by accident - a locking mechanism prevents them from activating when the phone is detracted.
Greater emphasis has been put into the phone's camera, which has been upgraded to a 2.0 megapixel with light and its own dedicated side-button. It also captures video at 15-20 FPS. An optional Micro-SD memory card slot enables you to add more memory, if you so desire!
As always, the phone is Bluetooth compatible for wireless headsets and wireless car operation. A WAP 2.0 feature is included for wireless internet access, and a USB 1.1 port with a full speed of 12 Mbps allows PC synchronization.
