Some species can easily be gotten rid of by using commercially designed products, such as sprays and powders while others such as the commonly called teenagers roach seem to develop resistance to every new insecticide and the spray that you used to kill one set will not kill the next set. The reason is that as the old ones die when sprayed they lay eggs and these eggs when hatched develop an immunity to the insecticide that killed their parents.
