Hmmm, we always had the beef roast while growing up. I need to expand my thinking, as this sounds lovely.

Really appreciate all the tips on how to roast a pork. Sounds exactly like something my very English grandma made for us on Sunday night dinners :)

We love our pork roasts too, especially when the crackling has turned out well. Great with roast potatoes, carrot and swede mash and broccoli. Oh, and thick gravy all over of course. :o)

Ah, yes ... we do love our pork roasts ... I like to embed slivers of garlic into cuts in the roast and smell the aroma as it roasts! And, applesauce IS indeed the perfect complement.

Roast pork and apple sauce is one of my favourites, especially if there is some nice, crispy crackling to go with it!

You certainly set the tone for a tasty meal with your intro! I also like to make applesauce and will have to look for bramley apples. Welcome to Culinary Favorites From A to Z.

I do so like a bit of roast pork. Lensrolled to my classic-casseroles-pork-and-cabbage.
