How to Roast Pumpkin Seeds Recipes
Don't you just love getting that big bright orange pumpkin, knowing that soon you will be cutting it up and digging out it guts!! Don't waste those guts! They are a wonderful snack treat. I just had to try it so I searched for a good pumpkin seed roasting recipe and I believe they turned out yummy. You can try it too, just buy your pumpkin, cut into it and DIG IN!

This is the slimy part. Young kids usually don't like this part. But with a very large spoon they give in.
OPTIONAL: Boil before Roasting
About 4 cups water per 2 cups seeds. You can add about 2 tsp of salt to the water. After cleaning and rinsing (optional) seeds off, bring to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes in water and salt. (This gives the inside seed a nice salty flavor.)
Before spreading on the sheet, you mix them in a bowl with melted butter (or oil) and salt.

Ingredients
- Fresh Pumpkin Seeds
- 2 or 3 TB Butter melted (or olive oil)
- 2 Tsp Salt
Instructions
(Optional: Boil before roasting. 4 cups water 2 cups seeds and 2 tsp salt)
Preheat oven to 300° degrees F. Toss seeds in a bowl with the melted butter (or oil) and salt. Spread the seeds in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake for about 45 minutes to 1 hour or until golden brown.

- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp coriander
- 1/2 cardamom
