Open Casting Call Auditions were recently held in British Columbia, Canada: Vancouver, Victoria, Kelowna and in Phoenix, Arizona. Robert Pattinson and the rest of the Twilight stars did not attend the open casting call. Photos of who applied are below.
By the Way The Twilight DVD Release Date is March 21, 2009 around the same time the sequel begins filming in Vancouver.

Director Catherine Hardwicke reveals the secret to Robert Pattinson's hank of hair and other Twilight behind the scenes info. in Twilight - The Director's Notebook which will be released March 17th, 2009. When I last checked, Amazon.com had drastically slashed the price from $17.99 to $10.79. It would be worth pre-booking in advance because Barnes and Noble had an exclusive edition of the Twilight DVD with special bonus features and it hasn't even been released yet and has already sold out.

New Moon (marketed as The Twilight Saga: New Moon) is a American romantic fantasy film. It is based on the novel of the same name by Stephenie Meyer and is the sequel to 2008's Twilight, which is based on Meyer's previous novel. Summit Entertainment greenlit the sequel in late November 2008, following the early success of Twilight. Directed by Chris Weitz, the film stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner, reprising their roles as Bella Swan, Edward Cullen, and Jacob Black, respectively. Melissa Rosenberg, who handed in a draft of the film script during the opening weekend of Twilight, returns as the screenwriter for the second installment as well.
The film was released on November 20, 2009 and set records as the biggest midnight screening and opening day in history, when it grossed nearly $73 million in its first day of release.

- I borrowed the "Twilight" book from my 16 year-old sister after watching the movie on DVD (which I loved, by the way). There's a lot of talk on the internet that this type of book is bad for teenage girls because it features a passive female and an overly aggressive male. However, I don't really think teenage girls are getting their cues on what constitutes a healthy relationship from a vampire story (at least, I would really hope they're not). It's just good fun. Robert Pattinson's hair is great. :-)
