The late singer made his mark as Lancelot in Camelot.

I love the legends of King Arthur, so any storyline about Camelot and the Knights of the Round Table will catch my attention.  It is with a sad heart that I heard today of the passing yesterday of Robert Goulet, a great singer and actor, which a touch of comedian thrown in, who brought the role of Lancelot alive on stage across from Richard Burton.

Remember those Emerald Nuts commercials - they premiered during the Super Bowl I think.  It was the ads where they recommended you eat their nuts to keep you awake in the afternoons, because if you fell asleep, Robert Goulet would appear and cause trouble in the office?  A great sense of humor he had, on top of that amazing singing voice.

He was in the hospital waiting for a lung transplant when he passed away - just another sign that organ donations are in short supply in this country.  It's so sad, but he had an amazing career, and got to meet a lot of amazing people.  Scroll down, and learn more about this "American Singer from Canada", as he was called.
