Roberto Alomar - 2nd Basemen for the Toronto Blue Jays

Roberto Alomar is a Baseball Hall of Fame (elect) second basemen who spent his MLB career playing for the San Diego Padres, Toronto Blue Jays, Baltimore Orioles, Cleveland Indians, New York Mets, along with brief stints with the Chicago White Sox and Arizona Diamondbacks. He was infinitely exciting to watch and from players have said, he was an excellent teammate. And let's be honest, who wouldn't want a flashy 2B near the top of their order shoring up 1/2 of a double-play tandem? This guy was always a threat to make highlights reels around the country whenever the ball was hit to him. He stole bases, he took walks, he hit home runs... This guy... was great.

Ah, baseball. I knew the name of Robbie Alomar, but I'm still getting a handle on all the greats, since I didn't get hooked until 2004. Thanks for the lesson!
