Rob Halford is the Metal God. Just saw their farewell tour concert last summer. The best yet.

I saw them last summer too - and I agree with you, the show was beyond awesome and Rob Halford is the ultimate Metal frontman. They did encore after encore, clearly LOVE performing and they appreciate their fans. Judas Priest are far and away the best live band I've ever seen - may they Rock the world forever!

Rob Halford's "coming out" in 1998 simply confirmed what everyone knew anyway, but he did a good thing by doing it! Metal has a "macho" image in the eyes of those who aren't real Metalheads, but I've always found Metal fans to be very non-judgemental and more concerned with the music than with worrying about other people's sexuality. I suspect that there are a lot of gay men in Metal but such labels are irrelevant. I saw Rob with Judas Priest last summer and they were phenomenal. They give 110% in their shows and truly deserve the title of "Metal Gods"!

One of the first Metal bands I heard when I was just getting into music was priest. I was always trying to sing like Halford but sounded more like a drowning cat.LOL

Rob Halford, the priest of Judas Priest and Heavy Metal! The original master of the "scream technique"! and although he is already in his 60's, this man can still scream(ing for vengeance) and with their new album "Nostradamus", they still prove to the Heavy Metal world that they are still the Metal Gods! To show the world I'm a true Priest fan, I even put some pictures of them on my personalized checks & I've done that when i order checks online ! You should try it out, too! Great way to praise the Gods of Heavy Metal!
