Robin Roberts paperback memoir includes a new chapter this time around in which she's added a new rule to live by. Following up on her original seven rules:
1. Position yourself to take the shot.
2. Dream big, but focus small. "Dreams are vague and far away. Goals are tangible and achievable."
3. If at first you don't succeed dive back in. "It isn't always the smartest, most talented, prettiest, or most charismatic person who has the most success." Don't let rejection hold you back from your achievements.
4. Never play the race, gender, or any other card.
5. Venture outside your comfort zone. "To stop growing is to stop living."
6. Focus on the solution, not the problem.
7. Keep faith, family, and friends close to your heart. "My faith, family, and friends are the foundation upon which everything else rests."
As Robin's newest rule to live by, she states her mother's old saying: "Make your mess your message."

- Hi Robin, I just seen you on 20/20 about being pet crazy. It was very cute. I work for Neiman Marcus and I see fashion all day long but that dress you had on in the show was stunning on you. Hats off to you stylist. You are such a beautiful woman. Stay Fabulous!!!!

- Robin, update us on the young female artist who was channeling Piccaso in her art at the age of 14, and who resented her mom and dad for believing that her gift indicated insanity and had her psychoanalized...you interviewed her on GMA; cannot recall the year, I also saw her on Oprah...you are special also!

- Hi Robin, A dear friend passed away due to breast cancer at the age of 31 and a foundation has been started in her name to give out scholarships to kids who have lost a family member to breast cancer. - When I got Triple Negative Breast Cancer. I thought to myself. Wow I have something in common with Robin. I hope I can heal and regain any quality of Life! I'd love to know some of the TNBC secrets! I hope you feel as good as you look. You're amazing and inspiring! I wish you all life's very Best. Take care!! - Hello Robin. My name is Darbie Day and I am 35 years old, recently diagnosed with early stage breast cancer. Your story always inspired me years ago and I had no idea that in Oct 2011 I would be dealing with the same thing. But with courage and determination I am going through this chemo. I have 3 more cycles to go and I am keeping my head held high as you did and still do. I just love to look at you because like so many you are a survivor. Soon I will be also.

You do not know me from Adam or Eve, but I know you. Growing up in Pass Christian, and attending Delisle Elementary and Pass High, I've heard your name more than a hundred times. I'm sure you already know this, but your the High Schools inspiration. The reason why I am writing you, is because I'm from a family that is struggling really bad. I live just on the other side of the Menge exit after Chevron. My mother and father are in the process of getting a divorce, and the only kids still at home is myself (20) and my sister (13). We aren't taking my parents separation that good. Its hard to be the glue of the family. Making sure my mom stays happy, and my little sister doesn't slip at school. My father is never happy anymore. So, if you could imagine life for me isn't that wonderful. I was hanging out with some people I though were my friends, but in the long run I found out weren't and I have to suffer the consequences. The reason why I am writing you, is to tell you I'm over weight, and I've tried so many diets but nothing is working for me. Im tired of being picked on, and never having any clothes. Now, that its winter; I have exactly one pair of jeans that actually fit me. Mame' I am asking you from the center of my heart, if you could please help me in getting a Gastric Bypass surgery, or a surgery that Guarantees the loss of weight. Sadly to admitt, I or my family cannot afford to help me in anyway. Just once in my life I want to feel beautiful, skinny, and welcomed in this life.
