Before joining CNN, Robin worked at NBC Chicago affiliate WMAQ-TV where she co-anchored the weekend newscasts and also served as a general assignment correspondent for the station.Before that, she anchored the morning newscasts. During her tenure with the NBC affiliate, Robin Meade covered the 1996 Olympics, which included special reporting on the Centennial Olympic Park bombing.
Robin Meade won a regional Emmy Award for her efforts in covering the 1995 collision between a school bus and a train in Fox River Grove, Ill., that killed seven and injured more than 24 teenagers.
Additionally, she was nominated for a regional Emmy for her report on how to decrease chances of injury in survivable plane crashes.
In October 2005, Robin Meade was inducted into the Ohio Broadcasters Hall of Fame. Robin Mead is both talented and beautiful.

Robin Meade's TV role models: When I was a senior in high school, I used to say I wanted to model my career after Diane Sawyer.And now I still respect Diane Sawyer immensely, but through my years of work, I really identify more with Katie Couric's style.
I used to work in an NBC station, so I would do the morning cut-in while watching the Today Show, and I admired that she would be prepared and be serious when she needed to, but she wasn't afraid to let out a big laugh when she needed to as well.
I met her when they were broadcasting out of Chicago one time, and she said, "Nice morning show." I was like, "Aahh! Katie Couric watched my show!"
You know, some people compare Robbin Meade's sexy legs to Katie Courics's legs and Diane Sawyer's legs or Christi Paul's legs.

CNN Loses Viewers to Fox, But Robin Meade Remains Strong
According to a recent study by Multichannel News, Fox News Channel dominated the "all news" network ratings battle in November, 2007, while rival CNN saw the biggest ratings decrease in the All News category.In the core adults 25 to 54 news demographic, CNN took one of the largest hits in the morning time slot (6 a.m. to 9 a.m.). Viewers for CNN's American Morning program plummeted 41% to 121,000 in the news demo, dropping CNN to third place in the time period.
CNN own sister network, Headline News, beat it in the morning period. HLN's Morning Express with Robin Meade averaged 130,000 viewers in the adults 25 to 54 demographic, up 27% from November 2006.

Indians pitching coach Carl Willis is an imposing figure. It's difficult to imagine anything throwing him off his game.Then again, beauty has been known to tame the savage beast. On a clear Saturday afternoon at Turner Field in Atlanta, that's just what happened.
Robin Meade, CNN Headline News anchor and star of "Morning Express with Robin Meade," was the beauty who threw the veteran pitching coach for a loop.
"Willis apologized, because he was so tired at the end," said Meade, an Ohio native and a former Miss Ohio. "He said I was intimidating."
"It was kind of like trying to hit the bat and throwing to your kids, so to speak," said Willis with a laugh. "She's an intimidating figure at the plate."
Meade, donning an Indians batting-practice jersey, then dug in against Willis. After fouling off a couple of pitches, Willis lost the plate.
"Does he always throw like that?" Meade asked with a laugh. Finally, Willis found his touch, and Meade knocked one into fair territory.
Meade impressed the group that watched, including her husband, Tim Yeager.
"I leaned over and said to somebody, 'Twenty bucks she won't touch one,'" Yeager said with a laugh.
But Robin Meade, a longtime Indians fan, did pretty good at taking her turn at bat. Way to go, Robin!
