Robin Meade Miss Ohio
Anyone can see that Robin Meade is gorgeous. But you may not have known that Robin became Miss Ohio 1992. (Although some people say Robin Meade was Miss Ohio 1993.)
Her pageant life started by winning the Miss Firelands Festival Title (Ohio) in 1986. Later in 1987 she won the Huron County Junior Miss title. Robin later attended Malone College and went on to graduate from Ashland University in 1991.
In 1990 she had won the Miss Parma Heights contest and was in the Miss Ohio Pageant for the first time, winning the preliminary swimsuit contest award that year. In 1991 she won the Miss Ashland contest and again participated in the Miss Ohio Pageant and was a semi finalist that year.
Winning the Miss Mansfield 1992 title, Robin Meade again tried for the Miss Ohio Crown. This time she succeeded and became Miss Ohio in 1992. Hurray! We love you, Robin.

Robin Meade's Miss Ohio talent was Popular Vocal and she chose "Alexanders Ragtime Band" as her feature song, which all New Londoners [Robin's hometown] remember fondly.
After spending the summer traveling the state of Ohio. She went to Atlantic City in September 1993 to represent Ohio in the Miss America Contest. Her platform was "The Importance of Buying American Made Goods."
The little five foot five inch, 110 lb brown haired, hazel-eyed, beautiful Robin Meade, age 23, captured one of the top ten finishes in the Miss America pageant 1993. Great job, Robin!

Update on Miss Ohio
Here's a little update on Miss Ohio. In 2007, Roberta Camp was crowned Miss Ohio, and here are some of her thoughts from her blog.I can't tell you all how pleased I was to lie in my own bed the other evening, however I wouldn't trade my experiences over the past month for anything.
Since I last wrote, a lot has happened. I had the honor to meet Ohio State Football Coach, Jim Tressel and walk on the new turf at "The Shoe". I also took part in OSU Homecoming festivities, including the parade and talking with Ohio State President; Gordon Gee. Mr. Gee and I are "pals" now and he as well as the university are so proud that they've made a unanimous decision to place an ad in the Miss America Program book!
I love my Alma Mater! I'm sure you're probably tired of hearing this, but don't forget to order your MAO Competition Program book! You have to check out the OSU ad and of course you'll be contributing to the most amazing (number one) scholarship provider for women today!
