Robots Gone Amok

Dinosaur robots walk about a parking garage in Japan, interact with visitors in museums and dinosaur robot/human hybrids appeared on Regis and Kelly. There is a fascination with seeing these prehistoric creatures up close and with the technology that made them come to life. Indeed, robots are a popular theme in science fiction as friend and as foe. When these mechanical creations go amok they usually try to wipe out humanity. Here is a short list of robots to avoid. The Borg from Star Trek, Cyborgs from Terminator, Cylons from Battlestar Galactica, Daleks from Doctor Who, evil bots from I, Robot, Hal, the malfunctioning computer, from 2001 A Space Odyssey .... as long as you are staying away from anti-social things.
