    We are doing a live music/gig theme for our wedding. The invites are going to look like concert tickets, you get a stamp at the after party (reception) door on entry, gig poster (save the date) going out shortly. Early planning days yet but those are how we are tying in the theme so far.

    Total black and white wedding theme, with deep red roses everywhere. Black and white wedding dress, walking down the aisle to Coldplays Yellow, Black Birdcage wedding veil... Rocker DJ,..... I think Im a rock and roll bride :)

    Your lens is pretty rocking! Having a rock and roll wedding is definitely a new, but cool concept and your lens has lots of great ideas to pull it off.

    My rock and roll wedding will be July 16. I used black, red and white, too, and opted for rockin' favors instead of soap or keychains or something else that will just get left behind! I wish I'd found this sooner when I was still planning. There are some great ideas!

    I'm getting married on May 27th 2011 and my wedding is definitely rock themed! My dress is red, my friend's rock band will be playing at the reception and virtually all the music will be rock and metal - I'm even considering Queen's version of the Bridal March for the bit where I come in!

    Great ideas. I was Best Man at a fancy-dress wedding and went as Elvis (in his later Vegas style) which meant when I stood up to do my Best Man speech I got the first laugh straight away.

    A rock and roll weeding would have been so much fun. Back in the day we attended several punk rock weddings & they were fun, but I'm more of an R 'n R kind of person.
    This was a great idea for a lens and you've done a great job.

    My daughter, who has always said she never wanted a wedding, was in this weekend for Easter. She asked me if I saw the beautiful wedding dress on my friends lens. I was clueless. (and I had no idea she had been following your lenses ever since I had her read your Indie music lenses) She pulled this lens up like a Squidoo pro to show me the dress :) It is beautiful and would you believe for the first time in 24 yrs.     Love the article. I had a rock n roll wedding in 8/8/08 and there wasn't a cool guide like this then. We made our invitations out of custom concert tickets, gve away Jimmy picked Kayli guitar picks as favors, all the groomsman wore hightops and aviators, and we had great music including "Here comes the Sun" by the Beatles for my processional.

    I would really love to go to a rock theme wedding. I've been to a Gothic wedding in a castle on Halloween and that was great fun for everyone, including the bride and groom. Cool lens - you rock!

    What a fantastic selection. You've covered everything. I love the black and white looks and the rock n roll wedding collection songs sound intriguing. I had to laugh in your intro when you mentioned "Every little thing she does is magic." My husband and I recorded all of our wedding music and that was one of the songs - way back in 1982!

    My husband and I will be married 30 years come this October. Your rock and roll wedding has reawakened the idea of renewing our vows on our anniversary! I probably would not have a rock and roll wedding although my younger sisters might.
