Green Day American Idiot Poster
American Idiot - the smash 2004 Green Day album
Green Day American Idiot PosterThe album American Idiot was created as a concept album, but it wasn't originally intended that way. While recording the follow up to the 2000 album Warning, the band's master recordings for the new album, titled Cigarettes and Valentines, were stolen. Rather than re-record the songs, the band decided to write all new material in the form of a rock concept album. The result was American Idiot, with Mike Dirnt calling the tape theft a "blessing in disguise."
American Idiot has gone on to become the band's most popular work along with 1994's Dookie. American Idiot

Bob Dylan Poster
Blowin' in the Wind
Bob Dylan PosterWhile most artists of the early 60's have come and gone, Bob Dylan is as strong as ever. Emabrking in 1988 on his "Never Ending Tour," his tenacity, originality, and motivation are an inspirtation to rock artists today. Credited as being one of the greatest writers in rock, Dylan has written incredible songs covered by Jimi Hendrix, Guns N' Roses, Ministry, and Rage Against the Machine, to name a few.
Sublime Poster
American ska punk band Sublime
The 90's largely weren't about heavy metal, it was about grunge and punk. As Guns N' Roses dissolved, alternative rock dominated the airwaves, and punk made a comeback due to bands like The Offspring, Green Day, and Rancid, Sublime fit in perfectly, gracing the rock radio world with their debut album, 40 oz. to Freedom, in 1992. Their third and final album is what they are best known for, with the hits "Santeria," "What I Got," and "Wrong Way." The band employed a ska punk sound that was a refreshing burst of energy on the rock radio charts in the mid nineties. However, the band's career was tragically cut short in 1996 after the death of singer Bradley Nowell. The band has decided to continue on years later, with the project Sublime with Rome.

They simply don't make bands like Queen anymore. No one could sing like Freddie Mercury, and no one made the extraordinary music they created. Songs like "Bohemian Rhapsody," "Somebody to Love," and "Killer Queen" are one in a million songs that you can't help but fall in love with. This poster features 24 of their best known albums. A great way to show your appreciation for the band!

Guns N' Roses Poster
Graphic poster of skulls, roses, and guns (what else would you expect?)
Guns N' Roses PosterGuns N' Roses dominated the late 80's rock scene with their massive album "Appetite for Destruction," and later, in 1991, Use Your Illusion (I & II). In a short period of time, the band was being called the "next Rolling Stones." Unfortunately, the band's egos got out of control, with Slash, Duff McKagan, Matt Sorum, and Izzy Stradlin all leaving in the 90's. Original drummer, Steven Adler, was fired in 1990. The "new" Guns N' Roses lives on, fronted by Axl Rose and a new group of revolving musicians. In 2008, the very long awaited Chinese Democracy was released, which is actually a solid record (though not what many GN'R fans were expecting). What most people remember the band for is the classic lineup of Slash, Duff, Axl, Izzy, and Steven Adler. Relive those glory days with this classic GN'R poster!

Led Zeppelin Stairway to Heaven Poster
The greatest rock song ever written?

Led Zeppelin Stairway to Heaven Poster
Is Stairway to Heaven really that good?
According to Jimmy Page, the song:
"...crystallized the essence of the band. It had everything there and showed the band at its best... as a band, as a unit. Not talking about solos or anything, it had everything there. We were careful never to release it as a single. It was a milestone for us. Every musician wants to do something of lasting quality, something which will hold up for a long time and I guess we did it with 'Stairway'. Townshend probably thought that he got it with Tommy. I don't know whether I have the ability to come up with more. I have to do a lot of hard work before I can get anywhere near those stages of consistent, total brilliance."

The Ramones Poster
Punk's most influential band

Lynyrd Skynyrd Poster
Southern rock pioneers
Lynyrd Skynyrd PosterOne of the originators of the southern rock movement of the 70's, Lynyrd Skynyrd's career is full of greatness, but marred by the terrible plane crash of 1977 which killed many of the original band members.
