A Celebration Of My Newest Title, "Rocket Mom"!

Since joining Squidoo in August 2007, my list of official titles has grown and become even more weird, especially for those who don't know me on Squidoo.

First of all, my username, "enslavedbyfaeries", is in reference to faery lore and the enchanted faery rings that are made of toadstools or wild mushrooms. Humans can be lured into the ring with the faery music. If a human steps into their circle and joins in the wild prancing it could lead to captivity forever in the fairy world. Little did I know that faery rings are nothing compared to the mighty tentacles of Squidoo...

Anyone who has spent much time on Squidoo can tell you how a few innocent lenses can snowball into a full blown addiction. Before long my eyes had become glazed over and everything was envisioned as a lens. Pretty soon people started calling me a "Giant Squid"! As silly as it sounds, it's a pretty respectable title. I especially love it when my daughter proudly tells her classmates or teachers my new profession as a Giant Squid, LOL.

So, as if being a Giant Squid enslaved by faeries wasn't enough, I've launched a whole new title to the mix...

 

Yep, I'm a "Rocket Mom" now too!! As you can probably guess, I'm very busy these days keeping up with it all. It is a lot of work, but the rewards far outweigh the pitfalls and I can honestly say that I'm a whole lot smarter than I was a year ago thanks to a lot of truly amazing people that have helped me along the way.

Anyway, this lens is a celebration of my newest title, "Rocket Mom" and features all of my Rocket Moms lenses!
