Rocketmoms Do Lensographies: Part 2

There are a number of different ways to set up your awesome lensography. In fact, one of the things I love about RocketMoms is the range of ideas these ladies have! Give them all the same assignment and every single lens will be drastically different.

That being said, I know I had trouble with my first lensography, so I thought I would share a few tips.

Pick a theme. This is very important since it will help you stay focused. You can literally choose any theme you like. Then stick to lenses in that area. A lot of RocketMoms have a "niche" or specialty that they can do a lensography on.

Fill it out. While you can certainly keep things very basic with just an intro, Plexo link list and a guestbook, people will be far more interested if you take the time to make the lens more exciting. Add a poll module, throw in some photos (I like Polaroid modules for this), and take the time to explain your topic a little more.

Use existing modules. There's no need to make things complicated. If you don't feel like linking to lenses in your text, don't! The Links Voting Plexo and the Featured Lenses modules are perfect for adding your links quickly and easily.

Make sure you tell people! Your lensography isn't going to be famous if you don't start sharing it.
