Addiction of RocketMoms

When Session 2 of RocketMoms was coming to an end, we were given a few options. One was to stay on as part-time for Session 3. This spider was jumping for joy. Feeling a little burnt out from Session 2 and not wanting to leave the group, part-time was just what I wanted. After all, I didn't want to leave the friends that I had made, nor the two groups that I had started, (the Healthy Living Group and the Zazzle group.) But as week four came along, I realize that I was not a part-time RocketMom.

RocketMoms Session 3 began August 17, 2009. It has been another great learning experience. Too bad I had missed the first Session of RocketMoms. Every Session is unique. Cheers to all the soon to be graduates of Session 3. Monday Oct. 12th is RocketMoms Graduation Day! Come back here then to see my newest badge from the RocketMoms.

From Monday Oct. 19th to Friday Oct. 23rd we are going to be having a one week very intensive learning session for people who want to try RocketMoms. If anyone is interested, just contact me or check out the RocketMoms Headquarters. RocketMoms is by invitation only. Those new to the group for this session have received their invitations. Session 4 will go from Monday Oct. 26th to Friday Dec. 4th. During this Session we will complete 6 niche lenses for just the Holiday Season. All of you perspective RocketMoms who would like to learn more on how to make Holiday lenses and how to make money off of them, then this is for you.

In this assignment were to give a product review. Since I love helping out the environment and the "green" bags that are offered on Zazzle, it seemed like a great way to combine the two. But then Cafepress has some great bags to offer and my daughter's first tote bag came from there. It is a very durable bag that she uses for nearly everything.

Ann Wilson selected most of these songs to make a statement about the times in which we live and how we, as a country keep repeating the same mistakes. She said she wanted to do it in a way that doesn't cram the message down your throat. Ann should be happy to know that she's accomplished that.

Week 3 - Decades Lens

This is about writing something that happened in a particular decade or the decade itself. One of the greatest bands was formed in the 70s with Ann and Nancy Wilson, called Heart. I love all of their music.

Since I just finished writing a lens Pumpkin Carving and Gifts, Halloween was still fresh in my mind. I love recipes with pumpkins. Nothing can beat pumpkin bars with cream cheese frosting. And of course punch goes good with any Halloween party.

Week 5 - Travel Lens

Near or far, Rocketmoms write about interesting locations. Here you will find a collection of Rocketmom's travel lenses. Some are about our hometowns, states, or countries. Other lenses focus on far away adventures or interesting spots like Mt. Rushmore or even a local farmer's market.

We took a trip to Blue Mounds, Wisconsin some years ago. It was nice to relive the experience. Afterwards I realized the many Wisconsin lenses that sandyspider had written and decided they needed one lens to keep track of them all. That is where the Wisconsinography came in.

Week 7 - Holiday Lens

Here the RocketMoms were able to share their Holiday lenses from January to December.

Right before this assignment I had made a few SquidBOO lenses, which I couldn't add because I wanted to follow the rules of making a lens during the time of the assignment. But this prompt me to write another Halloween lens.

An invitation was sent out for another Squidoo cookbook for Christmas time. This is where the Christmas candy recipes came in to play.
