RocketMoms - That's the Ticket

In the very first challenge, we had to create a recipe lens and a niche lens. I was intimidated, worried and scared I wouldn't measure up. But, with some encourangement from the RocketMoms, I dove in and created my lenses.

After the first challenge, I was a lot more confident I could complete the rest. In the second challenge we were to create a lens about something Fall. Being the decorating junkie I am, I made a Fall Centerpieces lens.

We recently moved and are pet-free for the moment so the challenge to create a SquidPaws had me looking to my visiting pet -- Lucy Dog. She is my parents' Dachshund and truly a member of our entire family. I really had fun with this one!

Having been a bartender and pub owner, I value items that make a job easier. Frozen drinks are fun, cooling and a party must these days, so my Hey, Monkey-Brain challenge was completed about Margarita Machines!

With the influence of hit books and shows about vampires -- like Twilight, I made a SquidBoo lens for young and teenaged girls to dress-up like an elegant yet frightening Vampiress. It was fun to see what all was available now that vampires are back in the mainstream!

I have always wanted to visit the "City of Lights". The Travel and Entertainment challenge allowed me to concentrate on Paris at Christmas. If you can't visit, the next best thing is to bring a bit of Paris home!

My Mother-in-law is a very creative soul. She inspired this Pumpkin Challenge lens about place card holders. Each year, for 24 years, she has come up with unique and different place card holders for our family holiday dinners. I thought I would share some of her ideas to maybe inspire someone else. Thanks Bette!

This was fun! I was already working on my Christmas Dessert Buffets lens and had made three candy trees. I took pictures and used it for my How-To challenge. Fun, fast and easy centerpiece idea to use this holiday season.

The RocketMoms are going into the kitchen for our 9th challenge this week: create a Christmas Cookie Lens.
