Rocking Horse Toy

I used to love playing with my wooden rocking horse. So when our child was born, I naturally looked at rocking horses - wow, what a change a few years (ok, decades) can make. The choices are overwhelming. There are now rocking horses for toddlers, as well as for older kids. There are wooden rocking horses for toddlers, and plastic rocking horses for toddlers. What I particularly like about the new designs is that they provide back support - seats have backs, so the kid has less chance of falling off the horse, and falling backward, always a concern, is almost impossible. Some of the plastic rocking horses for toddlers have also come up with a low seat design - seat is really low, near the floor - so while the rocking horse may look a bit funny, your child, even if he or she were to fall off, is unlikely to get hurt, since the seat is so close to the floor. As a parent, I simply love such forethought.

The rocking horse is a classic toy which usually becomes the family's most treasured toy. Wooden rocking horse is very durable and can be passed from one generation to another. Toy rocking horse is a great toy to help perfecting your kid's balance and coordination and is definitely a great addition to your child's room.

The rocking horse for your toddler has to be low enough for easy mounting and dismounting, and for minimizing the effect of falling.     I remember one at my grandmother's, but I don't remember the one I had at home. I think I fell out of my crib and busted my mouth on it. At least, that's the story. Don't know what happened to it after that. I love the ones you've got listed here.

    I had a semi-vintage (green) hobby horse - really sweet with a fur 'mane'; but I've always loved looking at rocking horses (proper). I particularly love the vintage/historical look rocking horses but the new ones are great! I'm glad rocking horses are still available, and in so many new designs/materials. One to suit everyone.
