How to Throw a Rock Star Party

Having a Rock Star Party is easy when you have a theme. Whether you are just hagin' out or want to get a big group together, all of the theme ideas below will be great!

Battle of the Bands This is perfect for large groups, Grad Parties, Youth Camps or Lock-Ins. The idea is you get groups, give them Band Names and it is the process of elimination! You can start out with Easy Mode and work up to Expert to help eliminate bands. The winner gets an award and of course the title "Greatest Band" !

Greatest Guitar Player of the.... This is a 60's 70's 80's or 90's theme party. Each person can participate individually or if you have the complete kit, have band competitions. All the songs on the playlist are from a certain decade. You can have each person dress up in outfits from the decade. This is a great theme for all ages, especially those older rockers who want to relive the glory days!

Be a Rock Star Have everyone dress up as their favorite Rock Star or Band. They can sing and play songs from their favorite groups. Give prizes for Best Dressed, Worst Dressed, Best Vocals, Best Guitar, Best Drummer. This is a fun theme for Halloween!
