Sharing my experience of the Front with you.
I grew up beneath the reefs of the Rocky Mountain Front near Dupuyer, Mt. My family homesteaded land near Swift Dam and on Split Mountain.
Treasured moments of my life were spent with my grandfather and my uncle on these ranches. I'm now free to spend as much time as I like in these foothills and mountains and would like to share with you, the things I see and the way I feel when I'm there.
I am showing photos and paintings of private land. Please respect the landowners right to privacy.
As an artist and a photographer, I have images to numerous to catalog, but I plan to set up web pages with photos and links to them as I add to this page. Here's a painting I did of my grandfathers ranch. It shows the old snow fence that protected the road from drifts in the winter snow.
Google map of where my photos were taken.

- I dream frequently of a cabin, in the middle of a hill, surrounded by aspen thicket. Last summer, I came upon the place that's been in my dreams all my life. I realised it was on the trail where I helped my grandfather drive the cattle to summer pasture!
