Rodarte at a Glance
Kate and Laura Mulleavy founded Rodarte in the fall of 2005. Since that time, the company has received a number of awards in the fashion industry. The line was founded in Pasadena, and named after their mother's maiden name, following their graduation from U.C. Berkeley.
After an initial collection of 10 pieces in New York City, the founders appeared on the cover of Women's Wear Daily, and had a meeting with Anna Wintour, the editor of Vogue.
