Get To The Rodeo
Hey rodeo fans, you know the story. Every year the popularity of this great sporting event grows, which means it keeps getting harder to get good seats at the rodeo. Of course, some events still have plenty of seats, but the majors like the NFR are blowing up. Last year, the 2006 Wrangler NFR ended with a record attendance of more than 18,000 people. This year it will most likely be more than that. Do you have a strategy to get good seats? Or potentially any seats at all?
This event will be soldout for 2007. Your only option is to turn to third party markets. One of the best places to shop for tickets these days is not necessarily the ticket brokers. Try STUBHUB tickets, where fans buy and sell tickets to one another. You can find tickets for less at STUBHUB. And yes, there might not always be tickets available but keep trying back. You never know when a fan out there will have to miss the NFR this year and need to sell his/her tickets. This company is not the seller of the tickets, but the facilitator between individuals who wish to buy and sell. That is why it is best to check their website at least once a day if you are searching for tickets. The auction style of buying the tickets can boost the pricing for high demand events, like NFR, but you have to pay for the best. STUBHUB gives you the best chance to scoop those tickets up, and possibly the only way to get them at all.
If you do turn to a ticket broker just remember that you will most likely pay more money. But, if you want to be there, so be it. I have put together a list below of some of the best brokers when it comes to getting to the rodeo.
