The Rogar Wine Opener

The nickle plated Rogar wine opener is a recreation of the old Champion model from 1897. Though the design is antique the mechanics behind it are cutting edge. It can easily uncork any sized wine bottle in one second and even re-corks to save any unfinished wine.

It's crafted from die cast zinc metal for extra durability. The screw mechanism allows you to mount this wine opener to a shelf or bar for more leverage if desired. This style comes in the nickle finish (shown), antique brass or pewter.

I have owned this amazing device for about 10 years and have opened hundreds of bottles of wine. Not only is it a great conversation piece, but this wine opener is, without question, absolutely the best for the job. The variety of cork removers that exist on this planet is truly amazing. Only two make sense to me: 1. The Butler's Friend (two steel prongs -insert, twist, & pull), and 2., this one which requires fewer steps...you don't have to remove the protective cork covering first. And, re-corking is just as easy...although I don't recall ever actually using that feature. By all means, buy one! You'll love it!
