Three years ago Roger Waters toured the world with his Dark Side of the Moon tour and later hit the road in 2010 to further showcase Pink Floyd's 1979 project 'The Wall!' But just when we thought that the chances of a Pink Floyd reunion were lost forever with this solo tour, Roger Waters and David Gilmour, the former feuding band members decided to put the past behind them for one night.
After playing a benefit show together after a trade-off between the two, it's been announced that the chance duet will most likely only happen one last time in both of their careers. The performance at the Hoping Foundation Benefit was only their second time sharing a stage since a bitter split in the early '80s. Roger Waters The Wall tour, in celebration of the 30th anniversary of the band's classic album and tour, is scheduled to be a 94-date tour, beginning September 15 and running through June 2011. - I worked on his show in Chicago. AWESOME!!! He ate dinner with the crew. Blew me away to go through the chow line with Roger and eat two tables away.
