HERE'S WHAT I THINK

Roger Clemens vs. Brian McNamee Who's the liar?

Somebody is telling the truth and somebody is lying. Maybe both. Could it be Roger the Rocket or could it be McNamee the medical waste hoarder?

I come down on the side of Roger. The medical waste thing is just too wierd.

Also the description of the hgh injections does not fit the facts of the medical protocol.

Yes, you're right!

Andrew says:

Brian Mcnamee is lying about he injected Roger Clemens with Lidocane & Vitiamin B12!

jdoc says:

That is really some good information. hgh.

ellaben says:

Never heard of either of them, but Im certain that they are both liars, after all ,its their job.

Ted says:

Roger Clemens.....my hero, one of the greatest ever, is lying is hgh hard ass off....

Bedompi says:

Roger is a gifted athlete, but a knucklehead. If McNamee is lying, why isn't Clemens suing his ass? (I'm assuming he hasn't filed suit - I haven't seen news of that)

Rofer says:

Roger Clemens is the liar in this scenario. He made up some words during his court session hes real nervous. How ever Brian Mcnamee is just a retard and has no idea what hes talking about.

Ben Butler says:

When he said in a 60 minute interview that people who take steroids shouldn't be punished, but are in fact punishing themselves and their own bodies... he pretty much admitted his guilt. Think about it, as an aging player who hasn't done any drugs, would you not be a little bitter about all the young guys coming up in the league pumped on "juice" and signing big contracts because of their "edge". Ya right, he'd be calling for the death penalty for guys taking performance enhancing drugs.

Clemens is stuck in his lie, and won't let it go, and he'll likely end up in jail unless he starts telling the truth.

jeff389 says:

I still say that Clemens is telling the truth. The polls don't go with me almost 200,000 people have voted at Fox Sports. Were it is 58% in favor of McNamee to 26% for Clemens.

purplelady says:

Roger Clemens is the liar. Then again on some levels, they are both liars. One is trying to save his baseball legacy and the other is trying to save his freedom. How do I vote on both sides. I guess the main liar if Clemens.

creed says:

Roger did not do it. He has the most consistent story and the most to lose by lying. Do you remember every conversation you had 5 years ago? If you asked three people to ask exactly what was said during a conversation at the gym yestaerday you would have three different answers. Asl them in three years and they would go Wahat convesation.

Jeff389 says:

Maybe Brian just got caught up in his own lies. Then found it hard to back out. remenber he got into this as part of a criminal investigation.

Scrap-n-Craft says:

I believe Roger...in this day and age, I think people care more about saving themselves than doing the right thing.

No way, Monkeybrain!

AndrewJMiller says:

The Rocket is lying his pants off, and he isn't doing too good a job of hiding it. Remember that press conference he called where he played a phone conversation between him and McNamee that he claimed would absolve him of the alleged crimes? Yeah, it didn't really help. Neither did Pettite's testimony, and Roger's claims that Pettite "misremembered" some of the information presented in his dissertation. There's too much evidence against him, and his smarmy lawyer, who's been telling the press that this is going to turn into a repeat of the Duke lacrosse case, is going to be eating nothing but crow and humble pie for the rest of his life.

Nicky says:

Roger is the Liar! Liar! - He and Pettite were buddy/buddy at that time - Andy didn't lie........but Roger has always been so arrogant. He has a history of being a nasty creature, he used to pick fights in bars over little guys words and then deny deny deny....it's never his fault. He is just playing the blame game....and teaching the next generation it might just work for them, too.

tuxedoxpress says:

USA Today took a poll:

Who's telling the truth?
81% say Roger Clemens is lying
19% say he's not

It's kind of nice to agree with the majority for a change.

tuxedoxpress says:

HGH does in fact, fit the protocol for redistribution of fat versus muscle mass. Sorry, but I think he did it. You have to remember that at the time, that type of thing was done quietly, without all the furor surrounding it today. People just thought they were getting a knowledgeable advantage. As a nurse, I've had to deal with people post-treatment. No one wants to fess up anymore than they want to admit they ever heard the words "Free Love" in a day of AIDS.

jd says:

Why would Petite and his wife make up or mis-remember the fact that he heard Clemens say he took HGH. Most of the evidence and testimony is against Roger. I would be surprised if Mr. Clemens has to pay consequences for lying under oath.

scotphin says:

How is making up a story about Roger using HGH going to save McNamee? If he lies, he goes to jail, if he DOESN'T lie, he saves himself. Also, why would he tell the truth about Knoblauch and Petitte, but make up a story about Roger. Maybe he's such an evil person that he's willing to go to prison simply to sully an innocent man's reputation. Right!
