Welcome to Romance Book Reviews List

This is my book reviews list page where all the reviews of romance books I do will be listed. Whether from blogs, articles or other places. I love reading good romance books when I can find them. I tend to lean towards the paranormal romance sub genre but if I can find a good author, really any sub genre will do. Ebooks are another passion for me as the convenience of them just can't be overstated.

I tend to re-read books a lot as I have a hard time finding authors I like reading. I have a blog that I am writing book reviews on at Romance Novels I Read.... Here you can see the feeds to my romance book reviews and ezine articles.

At the beginning of this page I have my top five recommended books from my reviews. This may change from time to time as I find even better books to read and review.

All my recommended reading above I couldn't put down. . I love character books, books more about the characters than plot driven and those ones are on top of my list.

Authors You Can't Get Enough Of

Linda Howard, Jayne Ann Krentz, Kresley Cole, Nalini Singh

I should qualify and say Linda Howard and Jayne Ann Krentz's early works.

Originally Linda Howard and Jayne Ann Krentz started writing category romances. Both authors then successfully started to write novels. More of a contemporary romance / suspense authors, however Linda Howard's work soon became suspense with a touch of romance, it's a shame as she had a wonderful touch with her interaction of her heros/heroines.

Jayne Ann Krenz has several pen names Jayne Castle, Amanda Quick, Stephanie James, Jayne Bentley, Amanda Glass. In recent times she only uses Amanda Quick for Historicals, Jayne Castle for Futuristic / Paranormals and Jayne Ann Krentz for contemporary. As I said her early work is excellent and there are a lot of books from her in all her pen names.

Kresley Cole and Nalini Singh are writers for my current favorite series. Kresley Cole has The Immortals After Dark which is ongoing and also a trilogy labelled The MacCarrick Brothers, which I love. Nalini Singh is currently writing two great series in the Psy/Changelings and Guild Hunters. These series are paranormals. Though, The MacCarrick Brothers not so much, that series is more a historical with a touch of paranormal.

Try a search on Amazon for their books. These authors are well worth checking out. Enjoy!
